ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR improves automatic process control system in production use

Khanty-Mansiysk. ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary enterprise of ОАО NK RussNeft, improves automatic process control system in the fields of the subsidiary.

As part of the process there was completed project on implementation of software complex «Information management system for oil production «ORION+» in the units of Nizhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield. The complex united into unified information system an oil treatment plant, cluster sites №1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 16, exploration well 139, modular group pumping station (MGPS), LACT unit №546, and subartesian oil pipe.
The telemetry system «ORION+» is intended for remote control over production facilities of oilfields. Among the advantages of «ORION+» system are the dynamic database, which provides on-line monitoring of units, facilities, and outfits without stop of system.
Moreover, in booster pump station of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field there was developed and implemented SCADA-system InTouch, allowing rational operation of the unit in conditions of continuous production. There were applied Allen-Bradley Control Logic controllers with hot standby, which allow carrying out repair works without a stop of booster pump station.
Engineering solutions applied to automatic process control system allow ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR acquire on-line information of all technologic stages of oil production and processing, which provides for maximum efficiency of operating processes. Further system expansion, which provides for accessing of new oil production facilities, is under study.
