In 2012 Varioganneft continues implementation of well intervention program
Raduzhny. For six months of 2012 ОАО Varioganneft has been successfully implementing well-intervention program aimed at enhanced oil recovery in the oilfields of Variogan oil block. Since the start of the year, the company has carried out 140 well interventions, which provided Varioganneft for incremental oil production in the amount of 94.436 thousand tons.
As of today, in Variogan block of fields there were carried out 21 well interventions, 6 wells were put into reservoir pressure maintenance. Besides, works on reopening of 37 wells were completed, operation optimization was carried out at 24 wells, and 39 wells underwent bottom-hole acidizing.
The greatest effect was obtained from works on hydraulic fracturing. Thus, by using hydraulic fracturing at well № 199p of Zapadno-Varioganskoye field the starting rate of yield made 72 tpd. From year to date, works on hydraulic fracturing were carried out at 21 wells of Variogan oil block.
Implementation of well intervention program has a significant effect on the increase in volume of hydrocarbon production. In 2012 OAO Varioganneft plans to run 251 well interventions, which will bring the company incremental ultimate recovery of approximately 285 000 tons of oil.
