ОАО “NAK “AKI-OTYR” implements oil reserves increment activities
Khanty-Mansiysk, KhMAO-Yugra. “AKI-OTYR” (NK “RussNeft” subsidiary) implements activities on oil reserves increment in Shapshinskoe fields.
The oil and gas reserves in Ach2 reservoir of Sredne-Shapshinskoe field were calculated for this purpose. The results showed that the cumulative increment of the С1+С2 oil recoverable reserves is 1,031 thousand tons.
Besides, a 3,299 m deep production well was drilled to Ach1 reservoir in Verkhne-Shapshinskoe field. The facility test was followed by commercial oil flow. Based on the results it was decided to calculate the hydrocarbons reserves in Ach1 reservoir.
Compensation of the mineral resources base remains at an adequately high level in the company. The exploration works with the purpose to estimate the mineral resources potential will be continued in 2012.
