NK RussNeft 10th Anniversary. Open to new achievements!

The history of the company started in 2002. The first stage was marked by the main objective to create a highly-effective, competitive structure, leader of the Russian oil and gas society and guarantor of wealth of the regions, included into the zone of responsibility of NK RussNeft. In course of the following years private and re-gained subsidiaries were integrated into  a unified production net. At the same time the company continued its dynamic resource potential build-up by means of new assets acquired. So in 2004 RussNeft managed to increase the volumes of hydrocarbon production  5 times – up to 10 million tons. The company also managed to enter the list of the 10 Russian leading companies of the industry sector market.
The figures achieved ин 2008 enabled the Company to oppose the world crisis successfully.  While the figures of the industrial sector reduced in general, RussNeft managed to build up hydrocarbon production, as well as to enlarge the volumes of refining and increase raw materials base. Exploration works were aimed at potentially rich deposits development. Anti-crisis measures contributed to saving key projects in the sphere of exploration works in West Siberia, Saratov region and the Udmurt Republic. The RussNeft activity figures increased sharply in 2010. For the first time the investment program of the Holding grew more than by 60%, reserves increment – by 280%, exploration volumes by 20% in comparison to 2009. For the first time since 2008 the staff managed to form the tendency of stable increase of the hydrocarbon raw materials daily volume.
In 2011 the production increase dynamics significantly exceeded average industry sector figures among Russian vertically integrated companies. This happened due to successful drilling programs that were put into practice in West Siberia, Tomsk region and Udmurtia.
In the upcoming years, within the frames of the long-term development strategy OAO NK RussNeft will continue to be actively involved to the development of the existing licensed deposits with specification of the deposits geological structure. The company will also increase their number within the oil-fields boundaries of the holding. As the result of it, by 2018 the anticipated oil-production output will have amounted  to 15.1 million tons, which is 2 million tons more  than the same figure of 2011. Apart from that, priority area is the achievement correspondence to the world standards considering the issues of environment protection, work safety and industrial safety.
