Khanty-Mansiysk. In September OAO RussNeft subsidiary OAO NAK AKI-OTYR will fulfill obligations under social and economic Agreements and accomplish the charity programme with the Administration Office of the municipal institutions at the territories where the company operates. More than 7 mln RUB have been assigned for social and charity programmes’ needs.
Within the frames of these agreements the key objectives for Khanty-Mansiysk, Oktyabrsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Nefteyugansk, such as development of these territories, maintenance and reconstruction of the socially important objects, environment protection, Northern nationalities support are being solved. Compensational payments are paid to families-owners of communal family lands throughout the year. In comparison to the last year this sum has increased by one-fourth and now amounts to 1 mln RUB. The money was transferred for development of traditional activities such as purchasing of POL and building material, boat and outboard engine, snow-going vehicles and autonomous power plants etc.
The company participates in social life of the district, sponsors and donates to pre-school and school institutions, orphan asylums, asylums for disabled people. The funding is aimed atimprovement of the material and technical base of the institutions, at organizations of children’s summer vacations in school camps. Targeted financial assistance is offered to children suffering from heavy illnessses. Khanty-Mansiysk public organization The Russian Disabled People Society receives annual financial assistance. Disabled children were presented with new school supplies on the eve of the 1st of September, the start of the new academic year. The oil industry workers did not stay indifferent to the disastrous Kuban tragedy. In relation hereto donations have been transferred to support people who suffered from the flood. In 2013 OAO NAK AKI-OTYR plans to continue implementation of the wide-scale social and charity programmes, positively affecting economic growth development of the region, wealth growth of its residents.
