Belkamneft recovers spiritual values of Udmurtia

The company has sponsored construction of a sports ground, refurbishment of the gym in School 71, upgrade of the water source in Tatiana Baramzina street in Izhevsk this year. These facilities were inspected by Aleksandr Volkov last Wednesday, as communicated by Udmurtia president and government press service to Argumenty v Izhevske news agency.

He noted that for the last two years RussNeft has allocated 185 million rubles for construction of the oil institute of Udmurtia state university, 50 million rubles – for procurement of training and laboratory equipment, 100 million rubles – for construction of a students dormitory. It regularly helps sportsmen, artists, public and religious associations.

“Belkamneft performance results for the last 5 years clearly prove the correctness of the company’s development course, the head of the region stated at a meeting with oilmen. You have remarkable performance, good wages, and promising perspectives. We highly appreciate the real assistance, you and your parent company headed by Mikhail Gutseriev provide to the republic. Special gratitude shall be expressed for the contribution in the recovery of the spiritual values of our society. Pokrov church in Sarapul, which was restored through direct cooperation with the oil company, will open as early as next week. That is one of the most ancient historical cultic buildings in Udmurtia”.

Yury Fedorov, Director General of OAO Belkamneft, and Bekhan Agaev, deputy of State Duma of Russia, spoke at the meeting.

Belkamneft is part of the Open Joint Stock Company RussNeft and produces oil in Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Kirov region. The company holds the second place among the tax payers in the area. There are 48 fields under development by OAO Belkamneft. The specialists of the company intend to produce 4.3 million tons of “black gold” this year.
