Izhevsk. Mikhail Gutseriev, President of OAO NK RussNeft, paid a working visit to Izhevsk on October 11. Aleksandr Volkov, President of Udmurtia, and Mikhail Gutseriev visited the Oil and Gas Institute, which new building was constructed under sponsorship of RussNeft and commissioned in September 2011.
Mikhail Gutseriev said at the opening of the Institute that the Company would undertake a part of expenses for acquisition of training and scientific-research work equipment. 50 million rubles, allocated by NK RussNeft, have been spent by the Institute management for the most up-to-date national and imported equipment.
Having viewed the class-rooms and scientific laboratories, Aleksandr Volkov and Mikhail Gutseriev met with the students and faculty of the Institute. Mikhail Gutseriev expressed at this meeting his readiness to allocate grants for the best students doing scientific work and professors writing thesis works.
Aleksandr Volkov stated at the meeting that given the support from the Republic of Udmurtia and OAO NK RussNeft, the Oil and Gas Institute should become one of Russia’s major scientific centers in the fuel and power areas.
Aleksandr Volkov and Mikhail Gutseriev inspected the site prepared for construction of a new dormitory for the students of the Oil and Gas Institute and Udmurtia State University in general. OAO NK RussNeft allocated 100 million rubles for construction of the dormitory which will be commissioned by September 1, 2013.
The agenda of Mikhail Gutseriev includes participation in consecration of Protection of Holy Mary Church in Sarapul which was restored at the expense of OAO NK RussNeft.
