Moody’s conferred upon RussNeft the “Ba3” rating with stable forecast
Moscow. On Thursday the international rating agency Moody’s conferred upon OAO RussNeft, numbered among the ten top Russian oil companies, the corporate rating and the probability of default rating “Ba3” with stable forecast, says the agency’s report. Besides, the company was given “Aa3” national scale rating.
The agency explains that the rating is based on RussNeft IAS accounting data for 2009-2011. Besides, conferment of the rating is determined by the company’s considerable resources, increase of operating efficiency in the recent years, strategy of reducing the leverage ratio.
