The four millionth ton of oil was produced at OAO Belkamneft oil fields
Izhevsk. Oilfields of OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary OAO Belkamneft have witnessed production of the four millionth ton of oil since the beginning of the year. This result was possible due to new producing assets, modern methods of oil production, as well as effective implementation of the number of well interventions at the active producing wells.
29 new wells have been turned into production at 6 oil fields since the beginning of the year. The additional oil output on the account of new wells amounted to 217.8 thousand tons. 1,310 well interventions were aimed at production rate increase, being by 10.5% higher against the same period of 2011. The expected 2012 production output would amount to 4.261 mln tons of oil.
The principal OAO Belkamneft oil output has been produced at the oilfields with the reserves hard to recover under the circumstances of high water cut. Due to that fact the major efforts are targeted at supporting the optimal production rate applying modern oil production methods and together with infrastructure investments and environment activities investments.
