Russneft will increase oil production at Shapshinskaya group up to 1.5 million tons per year in 2013
Moscow. OAO NK RussNeft (RTS: RUSN) will increase oil production output at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields by 7%, up to 1.5 million tons in 2013, as the company reports. Oil production output at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields amounted to 1.4 million tons according this year results. Average daily output reached 3.9 thousand tons.
Oil Information Agency (ANI) was informed by RussNeft press-office that the APG utilization output at Shapshinskaya group will make up 90% in 2012. Infrastructure development of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield included into Shapshinskaya group will increase oil production output. It will also optimize technical process of oil treatment and oil sales. Development project has been performed by OAO NAK Aki-Otyr (included into Zapadno-Sibirskaya Group of OAO NK RussNeft).
Khanty-Mansiysk RussNeft subsidiary allocated 2.018 billion Rub. of capital investment for Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield development. Interfield pipeline 52 km was constructed from booster-pump station of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye to Flow treater of Nizhne-Shapshinskoye, gas piston power plant was constructed as well. Along with that, construction and assembling operations of substation 110х35х10 kV as well as oilfield motor road 7.1 km have been performed. Oil-gathering plants, water pipe construction, power line construction have been planned.
NAK Aki-Otyr plans to continue oilfield infrastructure development in 2013. In compliance with its plans 20 exploration wells will be drilled, 5 of them are horizontal wells with formation hydro fracturing implemented. Expected oil production increase will amount to 129.2 thousand tons.
NAK Aki-Otyr produces oil and performs oil treatment in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region. Shapshinskaya group of oilfields (includes Verkhne-Shapshinskoye, Sredne-Shapshinkoye, Nizhne-Shapshinskoye fields) containing 98 million tons of total recoverable oil resources, is under development. RussNeft refers Shapshinskaya group development to strategic important projects. Preparation to the phased development of three oilfields of the group was completed in 2004-2005. Principal facilities of engineering infrastructure were constructed which brought the start-up much closer. Oil production at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield was started in 2006, Verkhne-Shapshinskoye started up in 2008, May 2009 witnessed commission of Sredne-Shapshinskoye oilfield.
