OAO Saratovneftegaz gave charitable support to children creative groups
Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz, producing subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, provided direct charitable aid to the Saratov regional center of arts and crafts on the eve of the winter school holidays. Over 17 thousand children and teenagers from 40 municipal districts of the region have participated in multiple the activities held by this recognized cultural institution in 2012.
By virtue of the financial support from RussNeft, hundreds of winners in regional competitions between artistic, folk, choreographic and circus creative groups recreated last summer in the children recreation camp Rovesnik within the structure of OAO Saratovneftegaz.
The funds allocated by the Saratov oil company will be used for various festive new year activities for young artists during the winter holidays. The purpose is to ensure further development of creative links, strengthen the friendship between the regional amateur talent groups and encourage the most active and talented participants.
Zabavushka Saratov regional artists center folk group also benefited from the oil company’s financial aid on the eve of the new year. The famous group comprises over 40 children and teenagers. Zabavushka has just celebrated its 20 year anniversary. Its main mission is to study and preserve the folk music, execution of its best pieces before various audiences. The repertory of the group includes over 100 old Russian songs, dances, games etc. Zabavushka has a long and successful record of participation in All-Russian and international folk festivals and competitions steadily winning the top places.
OAO Saratovneftegaz is one of the major benefactors in the region. In 2012, the company took the first place in the regional level of the all-Russia competition “Russian organization of high social effectiveness” in the nomination “For participation in solution of social problems of the territories and development of corporate charity”.
OAO NK RussNeft and its production subsidiary OAO Saratovneftegaz carry out systematic charitable activities in the regions of their operation. Notable material aid is given to the social sphere institutions inherently lacking budget funding: hospitals, sport clubs, cultural centers, schools and kindergartens.
Construction of a unique kindergarten for 320 children in the town of Yubileiny is one of the most significant projects implemented now in Saratov in terms of development of the social infrastructure. NK RussNeft decided to allocate considerable funds for construction of the kindergarten in one of the youngest and perspective districts of the regional center. This will allow to decrease essentially the social tension due to the dramatic lack of places in the Saratov kindergartens.
Around 70 million rubles overall will be allocated by the Company with its subsidiaries and affiliated entities for implementation of the social-economic programs, charitable and sponsorship projects in the region by the end of 2012 in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Saratov region government and OAO NK RussNeft.
