Upgrading of geoinformational technologies at OAO NAK AKI-OTYR
Khanty-Mansiisk. OAO AKI-OTYR, a producing subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft continues implementation of geoinformational technologies system development project. (GIS).
A new module devised within the frames of the project permits to integrate the instrument of calculation of regular payments for exploration works into the information-analysis System of Subsoil Use Monitoring. The System is designed for effective access to initial information on subsoil use, control over license agreements fulfillment and regulation of mineral resources use.
The capabilities of the new module (joint development of OOO SibGeoProject and NK RussNeft) permit to automate calculation of exploration areas. This achievement contributed to optimization of the production process and helped to make it more transparent, convenient and efficient.
In 2013 OAO NAK AKI-OTYR intends to enlarge its experience of using geoinformational systems for management and production purposes.
