Varioganneft summed up the results for 2012
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft summed up the results of the last year. In 2012 the company produced at the oilfields of Variogan oil block 3 million 123 thousand tons of oil which exceeds the analogous figure of the previous year by 8.7% (+251 thousand tons). The main growth of oil production output was achieved due to successful implementation of production drilling program and geological and engineering operations (GEO).
According to the report of the press-service of OAO Varioganneft the main growth of oil production output was achieved due to successful implementation of production drilling program and geological and engineering operations (GEO). Thus, commissioning of 33 wells enabled the company to gain incremental oil production in amount of 351 thousand tons, of which 53 thousand tons of oil was produced due to putting Novo-Aganskoye oilfield into commercial development. The average daily flow rate of the new wells amounted to 77 tons.
Another reason of the production gain was performance of 244 geological and engineering operations (GEO). The bulk of incremental production was achieved through hydrofracturing (HF). – more than 79 thousand tons for the year. Another 76.5 tons of oil resulted from wells re-completion and 50 thousand tons – due to stimulation of oil recovery in producing wells. On the whole the effect of GEO program implementation in 2012 is evaluated by the company as 292.6 tons of oil.
Besides, OAO Varioganneft successfully implemented a large-scale power-saving program. During the last year the company managed to save more than 37.7 million rubles at Tagrinsky and Zapadno-Variogansky blocks at the account of limitation and shutdown of injection wells and shifting the wells equipped with ESP and heating cables to sucker rod pumps.
Further in 2012 Varioganneft continued development of engineering infrastructure of its oilfields. In particular, last October the company commissioned modern and comfortable Office and Amenity Building at Tagrinskoye oilfield, which housed an ambulance room, DTG team and two contracting organizations.
In 2013 OAO Varioganneft is planning to produce 3 million 352 thousand 441 tons of oil and to drill 16 new wells at the license areas of Variogan oil block. The effect of the planned operations will bring the company 263 thousand tons of oil. It will enable the subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft not only to stabilize hydrocarbon stock production output but to form up a stable tendency of performance indicators’ growth.
