Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegas, a producing subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft goes on upgrading its production patterns using up-to date engineering achievements and new advanced technologies. Thus, within the frames of this activity the problem of associated oil-field water separation and removal from the product.
The fact that Saratovneftegas successfully stabilized oil production in 2012 resulted in substantial growth of water production at high watercut oilfields that make up the major part of the oilfields developed by the company. In this difficult situation an innovative approach to the problem is of great significance.
Non-standard technologies tested at the wells of Oktiabrskoye oilfield permitted to save significant capital investments in complicated infrastructure for the product collection and transportation at the oilfield. Installations equipped with the so-called “flip-flop pumps” are designed for water separation and pumping back to the oil-field water layer in the process of oil recovery. Thus, growth of water removal with the use of modification of such equipment at wells No 47 and No 50 amounted to 480 cbm and 100 cbm per day respectively. Such pattern permits to considerably reduce the expenditures for designing and mounting of high pressure communications; contributes to reliability of the equipment; provides ecological security.
Positive results were also received from other unique technologies of preliminary water removal near producing wells: more than 3 thousand cbm of water can be pumped into the layer without using extra pumps. In dependence on geological and engineering conditions of the oilfield the company selected individual preliminary water removal technologies without no additional electric power use. The savings in this case will amount to about 12 million rubles per year, says the press-service of the company.
