Izhevsk. Mir advanced automated system for electrical power remote control and accounting was introduced at OAO Belkamneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft
The first train of Mir system at NGDU-2 of OAO Belkamneft was connected to 2 power facilities – 110/10 kV Chernushka substation and RP-10 distribution point at the Central field. This allowed to introduce full control over the power supply to two major oil fields of the company – Chernovskoe and Central oil fields.
Mir system gathers and processes online data on the voltage in the grid, current loads both on individual lines and a facility in general and transmits this to NGDU-2 central dispatch which performs remote control of the commutation equipment and 10 kV breakers at the facilities of Central and Chernovskoe fields.
Besides, Mir allows to adjust and redistribute promptly the loads between the 10 kV bus sections as well as respond effectively to any deviation of the parameters from the allowable values.
This year, OAO Belkamneft intends to connect the remote control system to 2 more power supply facilities – 110/35/10 kV Ludzinka substation and RP-10 kV distribution point of Byginskoe oil field.
Introduction of this system increases the promptness of the power supply facilities control, prevents from their downtime due to failures and significantly reduces the maintenance costs.
