Varioganneft will allocate more than 128 mln rubles to improve environmental conditions at the fields of Variogan block
Raduzhny, KhMAO. RussNeft subsidiary Varioganneft will continue implementing the programme for environmental conditions improvement at the fields of Variogan oilfield. Activities’ funding within the programme will increase by 27% which will amount to 128 mln rubles.
Apart from that the company will allocate 48 mln rubles in 2013 to perform the process pipeline industrial safety review, which will let eradicate the principal reasons of oil pollution of oil fields (the loss of containment at the industrial pipelines because of the metal corrosion).
Effective protective agents worth 27 mln rubles (7.8% higher against 2012) will be purchased in 2013 to slow down the corrosion process on the pipeline. This will allow Varioganneft decrease the number of possible incidents and accidents at the fields.
In 2013 the company intends to comply with the environmental regulations.
Execution of the tasks of ecological management in compliance with international standards ISO 14001:2004 and the implementation of the programme for environmental conditions improvement at the fields of Variogan block will be priority directions of the environmental activity of Varioganneft in 2013.
