OAO Belkamneft prepares for the spring flood

Particular attention is paid to the state of the pipelines, beam pumping units, HV overhead power lines and inter-field roads. Operation personnel are specifically briefed on the work during the spring flood. Required materials, equipment, chemicals, fuels and lubricants are delivered to the facilities. The emergency rescue teams managers alert and gathering system was tested. Interaction in the water level rise forecast and prompt exchange of relevant information was established between the company, Russian Federation Emergency ministry department for Udmurtia and Common dispatcher department on duty for Udmurtia.

Facilities in low locations and near water are under special control. Daily inspections are performed to monitor the state of the pipelines at the river crossings. Emergency oil spill response equipment is made fully available.

The main part of the company’s preparation works has been accomplished, and should there be an emergency, it will be promptly responded.
