Ulyanovskneft continues the process automation
Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, continues to implement the oil production process automation program.
Thus, a leak detection automation system was designed and introduced on the inter-field oil pipeline from Baranovskoe field first water knock-out unit to Varvarovskoe field first water knock-out unit with the current parameters displayed in the Central Dispatch. The principal of operation of the system is based on the differential pressure in the pipeline. The system is powered by solar batteries. Application of this technology allows to mitigate economic and environmental impacts from loss of containment of the pipeline by prompt response to the system alarm.
Besides, a corporate automation system was introduced for automated group metering units which allows to transmit the parameters of wells from Filipovskoe field automated group metering unit to the Central Dispatch control panel. The system allows remote control over the wells selection for prompt production rate metering.
Further automation of the oil production process will complete the existing engineering infrastructure of OAO Ulyanovskneft field and allow more efficient oil production.
