RussNeft warns against companies imitating its name
Moscow. RussNeft included into Top 10 of the Russian oil companies warns that oil and petrochemicals market sees more than 10 companies using similar to RussNeft names, the company reports.
So the companies of different forms of incorporation in particular OOO RUSNEFT (The Republic of Ingushetia), OOO RussNeft (Perm) as well as ZAO Russneft-Ural, OOO Rusneft-Sever, OOO Rusneft-Vostok, OOO Forpost Rusneft etc. are operating in different regions of the country.
“All these legal entities are residents of the Russian Federation, operating in different regions of the Russian Federation. Possibly the intention of some of the companies is a fraud. Thus they try to make an impression of companies affiliated to OAO NK RussNeft holding,” the note reports.
It is also highlighted that the companies are not RussNeft subsidiaries and contacting them may have undesirable consequences.
