Saratovneftegaz provided charitable support to the veterans for the occasion of the Victory Day

Every local veterans’ council will make their own decision how to spend the funds allocated. This traditionally involves buying of gift food sets for the participants of the Second World War and veterans, repair of memorials and monuments in honor of the perished Motherland defenders, meetings of fellow-soldiers and arranging concerts, direct financial support of the old people most in need, etc.
Presents to those people who served their Motherland both at the front line and in the rear are just a small part of the large-scale charitable programme which is regularly implemented in the areas where OAO NK RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz operate. Considerable financial support is annually given to the social sphere facilities traditionally suffering from the shortages of the budget allocations, such as preparatory schools and educational institutions, hospitals, sports clubs, recreation centers. Significant financial support is offered as well to the Orthodox Church for reconstruction and repair of the churches.
One of the crucial projects aimed at social structure development and implemented in Saratov at the moment is construction of the unique kindergarten with 320 places in Yubileyny village. NK RussNeft President made a decision to allocate significant funds to construction of the kindergarten in one of the newest and promising areas of the regional center. The cost of construction amounts to 185 mln rubles, it is due for completion in Q4 2013. This will allow decreasing social tension related to severe shortage of places in the preparatory schools of Saratov.
OAO Saratovneftegaz is included into region major charity providers. The company took the first place in 2012 according to the regional stage results of the Russian contest Russian high social effective organization in the category For social problems solutions of the areas and corporate charity development, the press office of the company reports.
