OAO NAK AKI-OTYR extends the process control system at Shapshinskaya group of fields
Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, continues to automate the process control system. For instance, ORION+ oil production IT-controlled system software package implementation project was launched at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field.
An outstanding feature of the well pad teleautomatic system at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field is utilization of a broadband wireless communication based on Tsunami MP-8160 system produced by Proxim Wireless. The equipment will allow to transmit data with a channel speed of up to 300 Mbit/sec.
The teleautomatic system will allow online receipt of information on the oil production process progress as well as to minimize the losses from wells downtime. Besides, the IT-controlled system provides for potential instant SMS notification of the company’s specialists and the personnel on duty about the conditions of the power supply, temperature and emergencies within the automation equipment like computers, servers and controllers.
ORION+ teleautomatic system had been previously linked to Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field facilities: oil treatment unit, well pads, modular well pad pump station, commercial metering unit 546, high pressure oil pipeline etc.
