OAO Saratovneftegaz summarized its industrial safety activities in the first quarter of 2013
Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz, producing subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, summarized the results of its HSE activiries in Q1 2013. The most prominent employees of the company were awarded with honorary certificates from the Ministry of industry and energy of Saratov region and OAO Saratovneftegaz at a meeting dedicated to the World labour safety day.
Oil and gas gathering plants at Gryaznushinskaya, Stepnovskaya, Furmanovskaya and Pionerskaya areas were inspected within the industrial radiation control program for the last three months. Employees of the licensed facilities were also checked individually for radiation contamination. Internal audits of Grade II were arranged within the operation of the HSE management system and in compliance with the approved schedule.
Besides, a mandatory insurance contract was signed for hazardous facilities owners civil liability for damages from potential accidents. Procedure was developed for joint actions of members of voluntary firefighting teams of OAO Saratovneftegaz and its subsidiaries’ workshops sharing the common area of the facilities in relation of firefighting.
Special focus was given to development of activities for enhancement of labour conditions and safety as well as mitigation of professional risks in the coming year. Thus, the list of free issue of protective clothes, special boots and other personal protective equipment was reviewed for the employees working in hazardous and specific temperature conditions.
The labour conditions and safety in OAO Saratovneftegaz divisions are always in the focus of attention of the company’s management. Unconditional criterion in this issue has always been preservation of life and health of each employee which proves the consistency of OAO RussNeft policy in this direction.
