Varioganneft intends to allocate 200 mln rubles to seismic exploration in 2013
Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO Varioganneft (RTS: VARN) (RussNeft subsidiary (RTS: RUSN) in Khanty-Mansy Autonomous District) plans to allocate around 200 mln rubles to seismic exploration in 2013.
175 sq.m seismic 3D has been currently performed at Zapadno-Varioganskoye field.
It is expected that the studies allow to specify the geological model of the acreage of the previous hydrocarbon reservoirs and to discover new prospects.
Varioganneft will continue seismic exploration at the remaining licenses within this year.
The statement reports: “The study results along with implementing if the project solutions in relation to the fields infrastructure will allow the open joint stock company to continue drilling and add the oil production output”.
OAO Varioganneft develops Varioganskoye, Tagrinskoye, Novo-Aganskoye, Zapadno-Varioganskoye, Valyuninskoye and the northern part of Yuzhno-Yaraynerskoye fields.
