Saratovneftegaz supported the tour of Tabakov Moscow Theatre School in Saratov

This is the first visit of young students of Tabakov Moscow Theatre School to the city where their prominent head of the theatre was born and learned the basics of acting. The unique educational institution with no alternatives around the world was opened in 2010 thanks to the efforts of the USSR People's Artist, the art director of Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre and the legendary Tabakerka, Oleg Tabakov. Since then the theatre has recruited into college young talents from all the parts of Russia (including Saratov).
Prominent actors of Moscow theatres, ballet masters, stage acting masters, voice coaches of the leading acting universities of the country work with the students of the college.  We have achieved the first serious results this year: the 3d year young actors staged two graduation plays – The Shepherd and the Shepherd Girl by the same-named work of V.Astafyev and About Love by the plays of M. Roschin. The audience in Saratov will see the plays at the stage of the puppet theatre Teremok. These works are running successfully in Moscow. I hope that those who value art will truly appreciate the future actors. We have chosen the theatrical public of Saratov as a first reflection of our hard but noble activity. The cause to this choice can be explained as follows: Saratov is an old theatrical city. The theatrical traditions are strong and great here. My homepeople are deeply related to native and world dramatic art”, says Tabakov.

The company was awarded the 1^st place according to the regional Russian contest Russian Company with High Social Efficiency, in the category For participation in solution of the social problems of the regions and corporate charity development.
OAO NK RussNeft acted as a general sponsor of Saratov tour of the honored Russian group of Academic Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg Shostakovich Philharmonic Society in 2012. The Orchestra is directed by Yuri Temirkanov, USSR Honored Artist. This outstanding musical event (while having a limited Russian tour the Orchestra performed in Saratov for the first time) occurred to be the next important stage of Rostropovich festival, initiated by Ministry of Culture of Russia. OAO Saratovneftegaz in particular sponsored the VII Ruslanova Russian Folk Singers Contest. 98 singers from 30 regions of Russia  took part in this contest. This authoritative musical contest in the name of Lidiya Ruslanova, who was also born in Saratov, has been held in Saratov since 1993 under patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Russia. Significant funds were also allocated in the previous year to Shnitke Saratov Region Philarmonic Society in relation to its 75^th Anniversary. Financial support was also provided to Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory, one of the oldest musical universities of Russia celebrated its 100^th Anniversary since its foundation. Apart from that the Company and its affiliated companies in compliance to the Cooperation Agreement and Saratov Region Government allocate annually around 20 mln rubles to implementing social and economic programmes, charity and sponsorship projects on the territory of the region.
