Aganneftegazgeologia completed the program for compensations for the native people of the North

Nizhnevartovsky region, KhMAO. OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologia, subsidiary of NK RussNeft, completed implementation of the program for compensation payments provided for by the model agreements with representatives of native minorities of the North.

Over 7 million rubles were allocated by the company to support the khanty and mansi families in 2013.

OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologia operates in communal family lands with more than 30 families of Yugra natives. Based on the model agreements, executed between Aganneftegazgeologia and each family, compensations are allocated for procurement of construction materials, fuels, lubricants, special cloths, power generation sets, snow mobiles etc. needed for living in forest cattle camps.

Execution of the model agreements and payment of compensations for utilization of traditional agricultural lands is not the only positive example of mutually beneficial cooperation of the oil company and native aborigines of the North.

As communicated to Uralinformburo by OAO MPK ANGG press service, Variogan national village programs are funded within the frameworks of social-economic agreements annually signed between Nizhnevartovsk region administration and companies of RussNeft holding structure.

Thus, over 300 thousand rubles were allocated for implementation of social projects in 2012. The funds were used for celebration of 25 years of Variogan ethnographic museum park as well as for improvement of material and technical equipment of Olenenok kindergarten and Variogan branch of Novoagansk children art school.
