OAO Ulyanovskneft was awarded with Global eco brand international prize

Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, was awarded with Global eco brand international prize. The award took place within the International ecological telemarathon during the III Volga river ecological week. The prize was given to O. Shulga, OAO Ulyanovskneft Director General, by N.N. Drozdov, Chairman of Terra Viva International ecological movement and famous TV presenter.

The award solemn ceremony was participated by representatives of regional authorities, business and social organizations of Ulyanovsk region.
Global eco brand prize was founded by National Center for Global Informational Management - foundation for research and support in the area of global informational management, and Live Planet social environmentalist organization. Its main purpose is to attract the public attention to current environmental problems; encouragement of companies and private people to help preserve the natural resources, environment and human ecology; environmental awareness proliferation and healthy life style philosophy formation. The prize is a part of the project for preparation and implementation of the Year of Environment Protection established by a decree of the President of RF in 2013.
Global eco brand awardees are companies and organizations introducing environment friendly processes and implementing programs for rational exploitation of natural resources and development of ecological culture. Awarding OAO Ulyanovskneft with such a prize is recognition of the company’s environmental merits.
