Sunny summer at Rovesnik

Rovesnik  junior vacation camp built by Saratov oilmen on the Volga bank in Marksovsky district in 1986, witnessed on 20th June the event devoted to closing of the first period. 260 schoolchildren of the region have already spent their holidays here. Among them were 130 small children of Marks town and Markovsky district. They were the children from low-income families and families suffering under complicated life circumstances as well as students of sports schools and local arts school. The final ceremony appeared to be the real theatre show embracing musical, vocal and choreographic performances thanks to their creativity. 
Apart from that it has been the second season when Saratovneftegaz was granting free vouchers into DSOL Rovesnik within its charity program to the students of the Regional Arts School for talented children and young people as well as the teachers’ staff of Volzhskaya Raduga. They combined summer vacation with creative activity. The workshops performed by Vladimir V. Averyanov, the professor of the Graphics faculty of Surikov Moscow State Academic Arts Institute, were highlight of the event. The open-air workshops and sketches resulted into great exhibition of paintings in the hall of Rovesnik main building.
Svetlana Krasnoschekova, Minister of Culture of Saratov region expressed sincere gratitude to OAO NK RussNeft and OAO Saratovneftegaz management for the attention and support which they offer to the talented children, emphasizing that this is a priceless contribution into their future.
Natalya Starshova, Deputy CEO of OAO Saratovneftegaz, promised to the people present at the event, that OAO NK RussNeft would develop this successful and popular project further. “It is possible that next summer the young artists, musicians and dancers will be joined by the actors, students of Tabakov Moscow Theatre School. Their first tour was successfully held at the end of May in Saratov, hometown of Oleg Tabakov. The creative informal interaction surrounded by Volga nature will boost new ideas targeted at all round development of the young people” she said.
Second summer in a row the students of Bogolubov Saratov Arts School have been enjoying the chance to spend their holidays and increase their craft at Rovesnik, on the initiative of OAO Saratovneftegaz management. The above-mentioned arts school is one of the oldest and the most authoritative schools of the country. Stanislav Taratukhin, arts school director was grateful to all who helped to organize the arts semester. “It has become our good tradition”, he said. “Practicing during the summer period is mostly impossible. RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz offered this remarkable project and we appeared to be in beautiful conditions, the students enjoyed work and communication, it’s worth much”.
The joint exhibition of the paintings by the young artists and their elder friends was organized according to the results of the “creative” period. Konstantin Hudyakov, president of the arts union of the artists and our landsman who was present at the event, said: “This is great that there are many arts schools for the children in Saratov region, there are several schools in each town and there are also some in small villages. It is important to recognize the talent on time, to support it, what is happening in Saratov region. We are especially grateful to business. Nothing would happen without the activity of the oilmen”. 
While saying good bye to the lovely vacation camp the future prominent artists presented around 30 paintings to Rovesnik, which are going to decorate both living and administrative buildings. 
Hundreds of children from Saratov region can spend their holidays and improve their health at Rovesnik due to implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between Saratov region and OAO NK RussNeft for 2012-2014 in June, July and August. Among them are 360 school children of Marksovsky district where OAO Saratovneftegaz (RussNeft producing subsidiary) traditionally operates. RussNeft allocated around 8 mln RUB. to meet these targets within the charity programme in 2013.
It is worth highlighting that additionally 400 children from Saratov will spend their holidays in DSOL Rovesnik  funded with budget funds of the regional ministry of social development and municipal education of Saratov.
