OAO NK RussNeft keeps implementing an educational project

The joint educational project of OAO NK RussNeft and Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University was initiated by Mikhail Gutseriev, President of the Company, and started in 2010 in the Volga river region at a subsidiary of the holding where a regional preparation department was opened. In 2011, besides the Volga river region, the project’s geography extended to West Siberia. Its main purpose is to prepare future specialists in the oil and gas production industry. Specially developed academic programs for school graduates provide for two off-site sessions in the regional preparation department. Serious distant work under supervision of Gubkin University teachers allow the school graduates to have fully efficient preparation for the Uniform State Examination and following enrollment into the University. All expenses for preparation and teaching of the project participants – children of the holding’s subsidiaries employees – are undertaken by OAO NK RussNeft.
Implementation of the program is an important component of the system for preparation of young highly qualified specialists who will be in great demand at RussNeft companies and in the industry in general.
