OAO NAC " AKI- OTYR " summed up the results of work in the field of labor protection, industrial, fire, environmental safety, and HSE management systems for the 1st half of 2013

During the six months more than 12 million rubles were assigned  for implementation of environment and labor protection actions. The funds were spent for insurance of hazardous industrial facilities , training of workers in the field of industrial safety, environmental legislation, job evaluation and other actions.
During the reporting period, the Company fully implemented the actions within the frames of the environmental protection and restoration programs agreed with the Department of Ecology for KhMAO-Yugra. The Company spent 32.1 million rubles for these purposes, including protection and rational use of water resources,. The costs for  fire safety amounted to more than 4 million rubles.
Regular industrial environmental monitoring permitted to identify problem areas and prevent development of the consequences negative for environmental protection . In particular, the Company carried out diagnostics of pipelines,  242 km in total, including flow lines, water lines, gas pipelines .
OAO NAC  AKI- OTYR is integrated in the structure of one of the ten largest oil companies in Russia - OAO NK RussNeft.  Fulfillment of obligations in the field of HSE, compliance with the  international standards ISO 14001 : 2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 is a  part of  OAO NK RussNeft extensive policy. In the second half of the year this work will be continued .
