Moscow. R-Style Systems Integrator reported on completion of the stage of projects’ program in NK RussNeft within implementing development plans of the IT systems of the oil company.
The project lasted for 4 months, as CNews were told in R-Style. R-Style specialists set up a unified data base to save information about software used in the company. Comparative study of the quantity of the purchased software and the installed software was conducted within the project with software put on the account list which includes software life-cycle description, registration of the purchased software as well as their decommissioning. Working stations were also integrated with the new version of Microsoft Windows OS. This integration was executed with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 which is the software product for IT infrastructure management. This solution allowed to make the users’ work regular as well as to make all the IT services of the company accessible during the integration works, R-Style stated. This was executed taking into account Customer’s requirement to business process regularly while implementing the project.
It was highlighted in RussNeft that the transfer to new Windows version was being executed quickly, that is why the company needed centralized and quick integration done by R-Style.
