Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK Aki-Otyr (subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft) produced the millionth ton of oil at Shapshinskaya group of fields. This is as much as the sixth million ton from the development commencement. The company’s production rate is currently ahead of the 2013 plan by 8144 tons.
Presently, the daily production rate is 4850 thousand tons. The production grew due to start-up of new wells, maintenance of their optimum operation mode and introduction of new techniques for oil recovery factor improvement. While the company fully recovers the hydrocarbons production with the reserves increment for the third year in a row. The total increment of the С1+С2 oil recoverable reserves in 2010-2012 was 9335 million tons. Over 20 well interventions have been performed at the company’s fields which allowed to add the production by 42.104 thousand tons of oil. 31 wells were put into operation. All new wells are started up with application of hydraulic fracturing which allows to increase their daily rate. Besides, 7 hydraulic fractures were performed at the producing wells which added the production by 21.3 thousand tons. Implementation of the production drilling and well intervention programs will enable OAO NAK Aki-Otyr to produce over 1.5 million tons of oil in 2013. OAO NAK Aki-Otyr produces and treats oil in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district – Yugra. Its scope of development covers Verkhne-Shapshinsky, Sredne-Shapshinsky, Nizhne-Shapshinsky license areas (Shapshinskaya group of fields); Peschanoye field with total recoverable hydrocarbons of more than 94 million tons. One of the company’s priorities is implementation of the gas program aiming at the associated gas utilization ratio increase up to 95%. So far, the oil production facilities are 100% self-sufficient with power due to utilization of the processed associated gas. 52-km inter-field pipeline has been built for the gas transport from Verkhne-Shapshinskoye booster pump station to Nizhne-Shapshinskoye oil treatment facility. The projects were implemented jointly with OOO Monolit. Last year, OAO NK RussNeft, Salym Petroleum Development and OOO Monolit commissioned an associated gas complex treatment facility constructed at Salym group of oil fields in West Siberia. Around 110 million m3 of gas per year will come here for treatment from Shapshinskaya group of fields. In 2013, the production growth will be due to implementation of the production wells drilling, in particular, 33 new wells are scheduled including 5 wells with horizontal downhole. The expected production growth is about 182 thousand tons of oil.
