OAO Ulyanovskneft improves reliability of the process equipment at its fields
Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, overhauls oil and oil product tanks under the hazardous facilities industrial safety action plan.
In particular, four tanks were overhauled at UPN 500 oil treatment unit, UPPN Yuzhnaya, early water knock out units of Verkhozimskoye and Novobesovskoye fields following technical inspections. The works included replacement of the bottoms and belts, repair of the foundations and perimeters, corrosion protection and steelwork painting.
Besides, a vertical stock tank is being overhauled at the early water knock out unit of Novobesovskoye field.
Overhaul of two more tanks is scheduled by the year end at UPPN Yuzhnaya and the early water knock out unit of Varvarovskoye field.
Provision of reliability and failure-free operation of the tank farm equipment will allow to reduce impact on the environment and increase the production efficiency.
