ОАО Ulyanovskneft commissioned oil pipeline at the southern group of fields in Ulyanovsk region

The oil pipeline links initial water separation units of Baranovskoye and Varvarovskoye fields. Oil separated from produced water is transported through a pipeline from Preliminary Water Removal Unit (UPSV) of Baranovskoye field to UPSV of Varvarovskoye unit for further separation, then it is transported by oil tank trucks to Preliminary Oil Processing Plant Yuzhnaya. Start-up of the project will allow to increase oil liquid priming, to decrease pressure in the pipeline and to decrease load on pump equipment.
Apart from that new oil pipeline will significantly increase the environmental safety during oil pumping by preventing leak. Further improvement of oilfield equipment will increase current engineering infrastructure of the fields of OAO Ulyanovskneft and will allow to make oil production more efficient.
