OAO NAK AKI-OTYR provided assistance to the regional association of the internal affairs bodies and troops veterans

Khanty-Mansiysk. Monument to the veterans of the internal affairs bodies and troops of Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district was opened in December with assistance from OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, subsidiary of RussNeft holding. The monument was installed to those who faithfully gave most part of their lives to the law enforcement in Yugra. This is the only memorial in the district dedicated to the internal affairs bodies and troops veterans.

The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of 95 years of the Russian police. Family members of the policemen deceased in discharge of their functions and veterans of the internal affairs bodies and troops received a financial assistance from the oil company by the jubilee.

Under the social and charitable programs, the company also fulfilled the terms of the socio-economic agreements with Yugra municipal administrations of the areas where the company produces oil. 5.5 mln rubles were allocated to the budgets of Khanty-Mansiysk, Oktyabrsk, Nizhnevartovsk and Nefteyugansk districts in order to support the favorable social situation. In accordance with the federal and regional law, the heads of the communal family lands received compensations in amount of circa 1.4 mln rubles.

One of the main objectives of the social policy of the company is to implement charitable programs in the areas of operation. The company provides help to the most vulnerable institutions like orphanages, disabled people homes, kindergartens and schools. It also participates in cultural events, supports and develops sport. Annual financial aid is given to Khanty-Mansiysk All-Russia society of people with disabilities, Belochka kindergarten and a school in Batovo, Raduga orphanage.

Participation of OAO NAK AKI-OTYR in charitable events and social projects is systematic and aims at the development of the region and enhancement of its people’s welfare. Over 8 mln rubles were allocated in total for these purposes in 2013.

Implementation of the social and charitable programs is a priority of the social policy of RussNeft holding and its subsidiaries. The work will be continued next year.
