AKI-OTYR introduced IT-infrastructure monitoring and control system

Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, introduced an IT-infrastructure monitoring and control system based on Microsoft System Center Operation Manager 2012 Sp1 (SCOM 2012 Sp1).

 

SCOM 2012 Sp1 system is designed to monitor the IT-infrastructure of a company and promptly alert of unforeseen or unwanted events.

The project is implemented within the program for the company’s IT-infrastructure upgrade. The system covers the office of AKI-OTYR and all the oil fields.

Consolidation of the information network increased the controllability of all IT-infrastructure and decreased the mean downtime. Besides, the new concept’s philosophy allows round-o’clock proactive monitoring of the IT-infrastructure.

In 2014, OAO NAK AKI-OTYR will continue to develop and enhance the information technologies applying the up-to-date hardware and software.
