Varyoganneft allocated 18 million rubles for the implementation of the charity and sponsorship program in 2013

Khanty-Mansiysk. In 2013 OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, allocated around 18 million rubles for the charity and sponsorship program implementation. It was reported in the press service of the company.

It includes 5 million rubles allocated for the liabilities in accordance with the economic agreements signed by the Head of the municipality of the area of the company’s operation. More than 11 million rubles was spent as the compensatory payments to the indigenous peoples of the North. The contribution for the heads of the tribal lands are carried out on the basis of the federal laws, the district laws and the model agreements concluded with each family, having traditional lifestyle. The Funds are allocated for fuels, lubricants and construction materials, boats and outboard motors, snowmobiles, protective clothes, power generation plants and etc.

Except the liabilities, OAO Varyoganneft annually lends assistance to the implementation of charitable and socially-oriented projects in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. In 2013, the Company allocated 1.7 million rubles for these needs. One of the preferred directions of the social policy is cooperation with the Regional Charity Fund «Give heart to children», which main activity is connected with the help for children suffering from cancer. The company also provides support for the educational institution, culture and sports, social municipal organizations of war invalids and veterans, Orthodox churches.

Implementation of the program of charity and sponsorship is one of the priorities of social policy of OAO NK RussNeft and its subsidiaries. OAO Varyoganneft will continue socially-oriented projects in Yugra.
