ОАО Varioganneft started the second offsite training/examination period of the Regional Preparation Department under the joint educational project of OAO NK RussNeft and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas
Raduzhny, KhMAO. The second offsite training/examination period of the Regional Preparation Department of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas started at OAO Varioganneft yesterday.
The joint educational project of OAO NK Russneft and the university, initiated by Mikhail Gutseriev, President of the Company, had commenced as early as in 2010 covering the Volga river region and the West Siberia.
Similar Regional Preparation Department was opened in Saratov at OAO Saratovneftegaz, subsidiary of NK RussNeft, where the second training/examination period also started for undergraduates from Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions. Over 50 graduates of the Regional Preparation Departments from Siberia and Volga river region have become students of Gubkin Oil and Gas University under the dedicated enrollment by RussNeft.
All this week long, 24 school high students from KhMAO and Tomsk region (areas of the Company’s operation) have been preparing for their future study at the University. Those are children of the Company’s assets employees: OAO Varioganneft, OOO Tomskaya neft, OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologia.
Costs of the students’ pre-university preparation and following study at the University are covered by OAO NK RussNeft. Leading professors from Gubkin Oil and Gas University teach the profile disciplines (mathematics and Physics) at the Regional Preparation Department. Specially developed teaching programs provide not only for two offsite training/examination periods in 2013-2014, but also serious individual work of the high school students under remote control from the teachers.
Study at the Regional Preparation Department allows the high school students to have the largest possible preparation for the General State Examinations at school and further enrollment into Gubkin Oil and Gas University.
The project’s strategic goal is the prepare the high grade specialists for eventual work at OAO NK RussNeft and the assets within its corporate structure.
Operation of the Regional Preparation Department is an important stage of implementation of OAO NK RussNeft program for preparation of young high grade specialists who, after graduation, will be in demand at the holding’s assets and in the oil and gas industry in general.
