Veterans were honored in Saratovneftegaz
Saratov. Just before Defender of Motherland Day veterans and honored workers were honored in OAO Saratovneftegaz, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary. Festive program prepared by popular Saratov artists became a good present to those who created Saratovneftegaz from the start with their work within many years and its pages became part of history.
Saratovneft association was established on February 1949 by Order No. 157 of the Ministry of Oil Industry. This day was the starting point in establishment and development of the largest oil producing company in the Volga region. Addressing the pioneers of Saratov subsoil resources the management of the company showed their appreciation for forming and consolidating of good traditions, profound production victories and professional training and up-bringing of young oilmen generations who are a descent replacement of their predecessors and tutors.
The corporate meeting was the first among the planned events devoted to the 65th Anniversary of OAO Saratovneftegaz. Among them are excursions to the museum of the company, meeting of young employees with the veterans of the industry, various artistic talent contests among the employees and their children, ski race and traditional summer Spartakiad. The highlight of the festive events will be the solemn meeting of OAO Saratovneftegaz personnel as well as of its subsidiaries before the Oilman Day which is celebrated on the first Sunday of September.
It is worth mentioning that OAO Saratovneftegaz takes care of about two thousands of its veterans, it also provides financial aid to them before Victory Day and Old Man Day within its social program. Apart from that the company offers target funds to purchase medicines and to other needs according to incoming individual applications of the old men.
In addition to that before the 9th of May OAO Saratovneftegaz traditionally offers charity aid to social organizations of war veterans of work of all 14 municipal districts of Saratov region where the company operates. The amount transferred to the these aims in 2013 made about 600 thousand rubles. The funds are targeted at repair of memorials and monuments in honor of those who gave their lives for their Motherland. They are also aimed at meetings of fellow soldiers, festive concerts and target financial help of the old people who are in need.
Saratovneftegaz also offered financial help to the regional hospital of the veterans of war within the its charitable program implementation.
