Sports celebration devoted to 65th anniversary of OAO Saratovneftegaz took place in the company
Saratov. Sports event took place at vacation camp Rovesnik on February, 22. More than 200 employees of OAO Saratovneftegaz (OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary) and their family members took part in it. The event, which aim is to save old traditions of the company and to increase physical stamina of the employees was devoted to the 65th Anniversary of one of the oldest and largest oil-producing companies in the Volga region, the press-office reports.
The major event of celebration was ski race which witnessed participation of several teams at once. Bowls as well as individual prizes were given to the winners according to the results of the contest. Individual prizes included gift cards in a popular supermarket chain. By the end of cross-country skiing all the participants and fans of the corporate mini-Olympics could take part in different contests organized at special game and entertainment grounds. Children and adults made OAO Saratovneftegaz symbols out of snow and rode tires, sang Russian folk couplets and rode horses. Four legged beauties were provided by the horse-riding school Altey of Marks city. Its summer touristic camp near children’s camp Rovesnik was organized and equipped with the charity funds of OAO Saratovneftegaz.
Corporate sport is one of the important parts of social policy of OAO Saratovneftegaz. These events let each employee feel himself a constituent part of a big and friendly team united by one common objective. The matter of particular importance is that employees of the company as well as top-managers compete as rivals. Social program of OAO Saratovneftegaz annually involves funds for organization of training classes and competitions, equipment improvement and purchase of prizes.
It is worth mentioning that the support offered by the oilmen to sport events is not limited by holding intercorporate competitions. OAO Saratovneftegaz offers considerable financial support to junior sport schools and clubs of Saratov region. The funds allocated are targeted at improvement of their facilities as well as at participation of junior sport teams in training camps and competitions in Russia.
