Over 450 million rubles for pipelines upgrade
Raduzhny, KhMAO. In 2013, OAO Varioganneft allocated over 450 million rubles for the pipeline system upgrade.
According to Yaroslav Proskurnik, vice-director general for capital construction, over 42 km of pipelines were replaced along the year which allowed to significantly reduce the emergency spills risks.
“West-Variogan field had a problem of gas transport which was addressed with a pipeline startup, while the gas delivery at Variogan field was limited by the capacity of the gas processing plant. We hope that 2014 will not see such challenges – we managed to increase the contractual volume of the delivered fuel”, Proskurnik said.
Note that OAO Varioganneft reached 95% APG utilization in 2013. The company was established in 1976 and was incorporated into OAO NK RussNeft in 2002. 2.89 million tons of oil were produced at the fields of Variogan oil block in 2013.
