Specialists of OAO Varioganneft took part in professional skills contest of Ural federal district

The contest “Glory to the worker!” is held under auspices of Igor Kholmansky, representative of the President in Ural federal district. Its objective is to promote and increase the importance of the labour trades, attract the youth to the oil and gas industry operations. OAO Varioganneft was represented at the contest by Pavel Kurenkov and Mikhail Sologubov, employees of Zapadno-Varioganskoye and Tagrinskoye fields TsDNG NGDU-2.

The theoretical part of the contest included tests on OLYMPOX training and testing software. The practical tasks were performed at Urengoy oil and condensate field GP-22. Representatives of 24 major fuel and power complex companies of Ural federal district participated in the contest. The nominations also included “Family dynasty” and “Youth’s tutor”, since there are many oil and gas operators in the complex with experience of over ten years.

Pavel Kurenkov works at Varioganneft for slightly more than one year but he has won a number of young specialists conferences held by the company and within KhMAO-Yugra region. He also won the professional skills contest and was awarded in the nomination of “Oil and gas operator” as “the best in profession”. Mikhail Sologubov’s experience is over 20 years, 5 of which were in Varioganneft.

Pavel Kurenkov and Mikhail Sologubov performed honorably at the contest “Glory to the worker!” once again proving their professionalism. Besides, Pavel Kurenkov was awarded with a certificate of the youngest specialist.
