RussNeft implements a charitable program in Saratov region

Design of the church together with the foundation was made within 2006 and 2008. Metropolitan Longin laid the foundation stone of the church in 2009. During the ceremony a memorable capsule and a roll commemorating the donators and the date of establishment of the church inserted into the wall with the alter. In course of three following years the construction of the church was supported by a number of sponsors including OAO NK RussNeft. The domes were set up in 2012, the roof and the entry doors were made in 2013, as well as the foundation for the service building housing the heaters. The current year will witness further work on stained glass set up in the main building, secondary buildings maintenance as well as communication lines installation. Nowadays the church services in the local center of Lysogorsky municipal district has been performed in the building without modern conveniences which has been working since 1991. OAO NK RussNeft and its subsidiary OAO Saratovneftegaz regularly performs charitable program in the regions of tis operations. Social objects traditionally suffering from the shortages of budget assignations, among them hospitals, sports clubs, culture centers, artistic groups, educational facilities. Significant funds are annually transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church. The building of the Church of Holy Trinity, sponsored by the Company is continued in Ivanteevka village. The Company also sponsors further construction of the Church of Saint Tikhon Zadonsky in Zavodskoy district of Saratov. The funds were also allocated to the bells for the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The press-release of the company also reports about solemn ceremony of consecration of the old Mikhailo-Arkhangelskaya Church in village Mikhailovka nearby the regional center in 2011. This ceremony followed the long reconstruction of the church which is considered to be the jewel of Saratov municipal district.
