RussNeft’s oil production in 2015 is expected to exceed that of Bashneft and Slavneft
Moscow. RussNeft expects to exceed Bashneft and Slavneft by the oil production as early as in 2015. This was reported to ITAR-TASS by Mikhail Gutseriev, the principal owner of the company.
He stressed that the oil production next year may be expected to reach 18.5-19 million tons.
According to Gutseriev, the growth will be due to consolidation of the assets of RussNeft and Neftisa which is also controlled by the businessman.
Gutseriev also said that the Federal Antimonopoly Service reviews the documents submitted by the company within the assets consolidation.
In 2013, RussNeft’s production was 8.8 mln tons, Bashneft’s – 16 mln tons, Slavneft’s – 16.8 mln tons.
Neftisa’s production in 2013 was 7 mln tons.
