Varioganneft held is scientific technological conference of young scientists

Twelve employees presented their projects in the areas of geology, development, production, drilling technologies upgrade, introduction of new processes of operation and personnel training. The main objective of the annual conference is to identify creative potential and approach young employees to implementation of the company’s actual priorities.
Projects and scientific developments of the participants aim at the oil and gas production self-cost reduction and the company’s operation efficiency enhancement. The reports were assessed based on their actuality, innovativeness, technological conceptuality and economic efficiency.
The first place was awarded to Alexandr Komolov, Grade 1 geologist of Geology and Licensing department for his project “Production of hard to recover oil at Varioganskoye field BV-6 reservoir by side-tracking”. The second place was given to Alexandr Shvarev, automation engineer of Oil Industry Automation and Power Management for his work “Integrated security system Orion (security and fire alarm monitoring)”. The third place was taken by Anastasiya Khudyakova, planning economist of Procurement division for her report “Optimization of the logistic costs through centralization of materials deliveries to divisions”.
Scientific technological conferences are important for professional development of the young specialists of Varioganneft. The employees may project their innovative ideas many of which will render real economic effect in the near future once put into operation.
