OAO NK RussNeft names the Best Professionals

The results of the contest were announced on the 6th of August. This event united 70 participants from the Volga region, Central and West Siberia who had been already acknowledged as the best professionals in their companies.
Among them one could name: ZAO Preobrazhenskneft (Orenburg),OAO Ulyanovskneft (Ulyanovsk), OAO Saratovneftegaz (Saratov), OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya (Nizhnevartovsk), OAO NAK Aki-Otyr (Khanty-Mansiysk), OOO Tomskaya neft (Tomsk), OAO Varioganneft (Raduzhny). The oilmen contested in 11 categories, Varioganneft press-office reports.
Sergey Byshov, Senior Vice-president for Production and Geology highlighted at the opening ceremony: “It is the first time our company united all the flags of the subsidiaries in the contest of Best Professional in OAO NK RussNeft. This large-scale event is a priceless experience. The program of the contest included two levels theoretical and practical. At the theoretical level the participants demonstrated their knowledge of production process, HSE and fire safety. The practical level included assessment of professional skills at execution of the works at producing facilities. The assessment also included the time spent at execution of the task, compliance with safety standards and applying of efficient methods of work.

OAO Varioganneft won the team score (Y.A.Nishkevich, General Director), employees received 10 awards. OAO Saratovneftegaz was the second (T.M. Latypov, General Director) with 8 awards. OAO Ulyanovskneftegaz was the third with 6 awards (O.A. Shulga, General Director).
The winners were awarded as Best Professional in OAO NK RussNeft. The winners as well as the participants who won second and third awards received a diploma, a certificate, a badge and a money certificate. During the year the winners will receive a bonus for their professional skill and high qualification in the amount of 20%, the participants with second awards will receive a 15% bonus, the participants with third awards will receive 10%. The contest is a great chance to approve oneself. Every category set up its own time and score records. This contest definitely opened new names and each participant was provided an opportunity to progress up the career ladder.
Yury Nishkevich, OAO Varioganneft General Director, reported that there are examples in Varioganneft when the winners of professional contests became foremen, site supervisors etc.
