RussNeft to Have Founded Own Transport Company.

Oil company Russneft OAO has founded its own transport company named RussNeftetransport ZAO, as the Oil Information Agency was informed at Russneft. According to the Agency, RussNeftetransport ZAO was originated from Neftetransport ZAO (a former name of the ZAO). The company is specializing in transportation of oil, oil products, petrochemicals and gases. The new company has been founded because Russneft’s railway freight flows increased. The flow traffic is expected to grow in view of commissioning in May an oil loading terminal at the railway station of Zhecha in the Starodubsky district of the Bryansk oblast, reminded Russneft’s press-secretary Eduard Sarkisov. RussNeftetransport has already got RZD operation license as well as licenses on repair services and hazardous freights carriage. The company has its own repair center in Tomsk and an independent dispatcher point to follow the freights. To enable efficient handling of its freights the company has established a network of branches in Moscow, Samara, Tomsk and Bryansk. As of today the company disposes of two thousand own and leased rail cars. By the end of the year all the rail cars will be bought out by RussNeftetransport to become its property. It is also planned to expand the rolling stock of the company to 5 thousand units. This year RussNeftetransport flow traffic is expected to be about 5-7 million tons.
