The First Time in Russia Street Named after Businessman.

RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev is the first businessman in Russia giving his name to a street. This decision was made by the administration of the Urus-Martanovsky district in the Republic of Chechnya initiated by the elders of the village of Goity, belonging to this district. In April 2004 NK RussNeft OAO and the authorities of the Republic of Chechnya signed a cooperation agreement specifying large-scale support on the part of the company in tackling the most difficult issues of Chechnya. Successful implementation of the agreement providing for construction of a school in Grozny for 540 pupils and some other charitable actions has served as basis for giving the name of Gutseriev to one of the streets in the district as was explained at the administration of the Republic.
