President of OAO Oil and Gas Company RussNeft Mikhail Gutseriev and the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov have signed a schedule to the cooperation agreement for 2006, oil company’s press service reports. The document provides RussNeft participation in welfare projects of the region.
RussNeft and the administration of the Ulyanovsk region signed the cooperation agreement in April 2006. It sets out parties’ cooperation priorities. The agreement provides parties’ collaboration in the development of region’s resource potential, environmental activity, the development of industrial and scientific potential of the region.
During the signing ceremony President of RussNeft Mikhail Gutseriev pointed it out that the Ulyanovsk region is a most promising region of company’s operation and the holding is going to participate actively in welfare programmes of the territory.
RussNeft comprises 30 producing entities, 3 oil refineries, a transporting entity and a modern distribution network of 300 gasoline filling complexes in 17 Russian regions and CIS. Total recoverable reserves of RussNeft exceed 630 mln tons. Annual oil production reached the point of 17 mln tons.
The geography of RussNeft operation include Western Siberia, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk, Penza, Volgograd, Bryansk, Kirov, Volgograd, Smolensk, Saratov and Orenburg region, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republics of Udmurtia and Komi and Belarus. The head office of the company is in Moscow.
