Belkamneft Production Up 7.1% in 2006
OAO ’Belkamneft’ (OAO Oil and Gas Company ‘RussNeft’s’ subsidiary) produced 4 mln 4 361 thousand tons of oil in 2006. The rate has been increased by 7.1% against year 2005, company’s spokesman Olga Abramova said to ‘Interfax’.
‘The continuing increase of oil production became possible due to active geological and engineering operations at the oil fields’, - she said.
According to the press service 25 oil wells were put into operation at OAO ‘Belkamneft’ fields last year.
Oil and Gas Company ‘RussNeft’ produces hydrocarbons in the Udmurtian Republic via its subsidiaries – OAO ‘Belkamneft’, OAO ‘Uralskaya Neft’, OAO ‘Udmurt National Oil Company’, OAO ‘Udmurt Oil Company’.
