Orenburg, may 11, INTERFAX. OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” (Orenburg region, a subsidiary of OAO O&G RussNeft”) will by 2010 increase oil refining by 20 % - up to 6 million tons per year, said Yuri Kaliuzhny, the Minister for Industrial Policy and Innovations of the region, on Friday.
“A program of large-scaled reconstruction of the capacities of “Orsknefteorgsintez” has been launched recently. In 2007 the plant will install new equipment permitting to raise the output of high-octane gasolines Euro-3, -4, -5, as well as of gas oil under Euro-4 standard”, said Yuri Kaliuzhny.
“By 2010 the refinery is going to process 6 million tons of oil per year. Besides, the depth of refinery will increase from 60% to 92%”, the Minister added.
As it was reported earlier, in May “Orsknefteorgsintez” is going to shut off a number of processing units for scheduled maintenance and repair. In particular, it is planned to replace worn out equipment, to introduce new automatic devices.
